Shipping & Returns
Canada Post is currently experiencing delays in their deliveries which means parcels can take longer than usual to arrive. Please place orders with this in mind that their could be delays in your package arriving on time. If packages are delayed and fall outside of our guarantee period as a result of the delay, they will unfortunately not qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee.
Particular things to be cautious of are ordering of floating plants or livestock during this time as these tend to be more sensitive during shipping.
We ship orders out on Mondays*, the cut off to have your order shipped on the coming Monday is Sunday @ 1PM (EST). Your order, mailing info and payment must be received before this time. Note: minimum order required is $35.
We ship our products through parcel (boxes) which provide protection and minor insulation for their journey to you. Additional insulation is used during the winter months see our FAQs for more details on our packaging. The default shipping service used is Canada Post Expedited Service which includes tracking. You can upgrade for faster shipping at checkout.

Note that if your order contains plants or livestock, we highly recommend using the appropriate shipping to ensure your package arrives in 1-3 days. Please check delivery standards for Canada Post by entering your postal code at this link (our postal code is M1S1T5). Note, our Regular shipping is the same as Expedited shipping and Express shipping is the same as Xpresspost.
Live Arrival Guarantee Policy
Guarantee is only valid on 1 day shipping. Please check shipping time by searching your postal code here, our postal code is M1S1T5. If shipments are delayed by Canada Post or forces and events outside of our control the guarantee is waived.
Customers are responsible for keep tracking of packages and ensuring they are available for pick up. If you are not available to accept your package on the first attempt the guarantee is waived.
If your livestock/plants are dead on arrival we require clear pictures of the specimen still in the bag within 2 hours of delivery confirmation. Once we have verified that the guarantee claim is valid (may take up to 48 hours to review), we will process a refund for you for the dead specimens. Note that shipping costs are not included in our live arrival guarantee.
There are no refunds, returns or exchanges on any livestock, plants or goods. All sales are final.
Buyer is responsible for ensuring that weather and postal conditions are optimal when ordering livestock and plants. We reserve the right to hold packages due to extreme weather or other conditions (e.g. postal disruptions). If we hold your package, we will contact you at our earliest convenience to inform you of the delay and to advise of when we expect to be able to ship your package.
We currently accept VISA and MasterCard. Minimum order is $35.
*If Monday falls on a Holiday, we usually ship the following business day. If you would like to hold your order until the following Monday please indicate this in your checkout notes (available from the Cart page).
